Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) Boot Camp

In response to the launch of HMC 4.0, Planet Technologies has updated their Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) Developer Boot Camp to incorporate the features of this latest version of HMC.

MPS Boot camp is a hands-on training session developed for Service Provider architects and developers looking to extend, integrate and troubleshoot the Microsoft Provisioning System. The course is now based on the HMC 4.0 solution and also includes details on leveraging MPS for Web and SQL Hosting.

Set in an intimate classroom setting, in one week you’ll learn from an expert all you need to know about MPS including how to:

  • Submit Requests
  • Develop Named Procedures
  • Develop Providers
  • Integrating with Third party Systems
  • Troubleshooting a failed transaction

Prerequisites

It is assumed that the audience is familiar with and understands the following:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0
  • Microsoft Visual C#
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
  • Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003, and the following components:
    • Active Directory
    • Internet Information Service (IIS)
  • XML
