Planet Supports FAA Knowledge Services Network Through Applied Knowledge Group (AKG) Contract
Germantown, MD (June 2, 2007): Planet Technologies, an International IT consulting and services company, announced today that it will be part of Applied Knowledge Group’s (AKG) team to support their recent contract award from the FAA Knowledge Services Network.
The FAA awarded the contract for support services for the Knowledge Services Network (KSN) to AKG after a competitive contract review. Under this contract, AKG and its partners, including Planet Technologies, will supply comprehensive services for KSN including collaboration strategy support, change management and training services, technology services and software application development.
The contract, awarded under the auspices of FAA AWA, has an estimated value of $9.5 million over five years if all options are exercised.
