Planet Technologies FISMA Compliance Suite
Planet has created a flexible, forms driven, tasking-focused compliance management suite for the administration of the tasks associated with the creation, review and maintenance of the 155 Federal Information Security Management Act controls as required by OMB. The suite, driven by Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS ‘07) and SQL 2005, enables Federal cyber-security managers or other compliance administrators to specifically task members of their organization to review specific documented controls in multiple locations providing for sub-tasking, timed process escalation and auditing.
The Planet Technologies FISMA Compliance suite also provides a centralized view into the progress of all of the controls under review in a centralized dashboard view providing real-time oversight of the process. The suite is flexible, extendable and easily tailored to the specific processes and roles within any organization and can even be leveraged to manage non-FISMA processes requiring the same oversight, tasking and control.
