Priya Bains

Priya Bains, Vice President of Operations and General Manager for the Western Region, leads Planet Technologies West Coast team and is responsible for the overall operations of this territory. Priya works in variety of capacities to deliver innovative solutions to Planet’s clients and enhance Planet’s capabilities. She is responsible for the quality of the project deliverables and fosters close working relationships with Microsoft and other clients in the West Coast to solve their business challenges. Priya has the proven ability to analyze business needs, develop business plans and deliver effective solutions against tight project timelines.

When Priya joined Planet Technologies as a General Manager of the West Coast in September 2005, she brought over seven years of marketing and project leadership experience, which includes both vertical (telecom) and horizontal (software) industries. Prior to this role, she worked with several large companies including Hutchison Whampoa and Bharti/Airtel in India. While Priya was working as marketing manager at Airtel, she received an award for her excellent coordination and round the clock support of cross functional teams.

Priya holds an M.B.A and is a graduate in Commerce and Business Administration. Priya is also Total Quality Management Certified under Philip Crosby Associates.
