has officially launched, we are ready and able to
assist clients who wish to get up to speed on this new

Planet's MPS Boot Camp Now Featuring HMC 4.0
In response to the launch of HMC 4.0, we
have updated our Microsoft
Provisioning System (MPS) Developer Boot Camp to
incorporate the features of this latest version of HMC.
Our next class is the week of May 21 - 24.
MPS Boot Camp is a hands-on training session
developed for Service Provider architects and
developers looking to extend, integrate and
troubleshoot the Microsoft Provisioning System. The
course is now based on the HMC 4.0 solution and
also includes details on leveraging MPS for Web and
SQL Hosting. Set in an intimate classroom setting, in
one week you'll learn from an expert all you need to
know about MPS including how to: submit requests,
develop named procedures, develop providers,
integrate with third party systems, troubleshoot failed
transactions.
Seats are still available for the session being held
May 21-25 at Planet's training facility about 30 minutes
outside of Washington, DC. The cost for the class is

Introducing: Life Cycle Services for Service Providers
Since 1997, Planet has been a valued partner to
Service Providers looking to deploy or migrate to a
Microsoft Hosting platform. Today, we are introducing
Life Cycle Services to extend our service
offerings to include assistance to Service Providers
after the initial platform set-up.
The first in the series of Life Cycle Services is
Email Migration Services . Designed to
streamline the process of migrating your clients to
your HMC Platform, the service is offered two ways:
Prebuild and Package or Full Migration
Services.In the first scenerio, Planet will supply
you with
a turn-key program with all of the tools and knowledge
necessary for you to migrate your clients. This
includes best practices information, templates, and
more. The Full Migration Services option provides all
of the above plus Planet service to perform the actual
migrations of your clients as needed.
Our goal with these Life Cycle services is to ensure
that you have a full-service partner for your hosting

Planet creates Ready To Deploy for Hosted Applications
To assist Service Providers in providing Hosted
Applications to their clients, Planet has created a
Ready To Deploy (RTD) Solution for Hosted
Applications. Planet's turn-key RTD solution is
designed for new and existing Microsoft Windows
based hosters who wish to provide Software as a
Service - even for applications that are not web
enabled. Hosters can build upon their HMC platform
or build a new Windows based hosting environment.
Planet's Ready To Deploy Solution is a fixed cost,
fixed time engagement that provides the multi-tenant
infrastructure necessary to provide automated
provision and secure delivery of Applications via
SoftGrid and Terminal Services. The RTD also
provides the flexible platform capable of providing
Hosting services for Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint
and CRM to allow for a very dynamic catalog of
hosting services and offerings.
